This page explains how Independent Flooring Inspectors uses cookies and similar technologies on flooring.report.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (local storage, session storage) work in the same way.

2. Cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary - required for the site to function (e.g. authentication tokens for the client portal, your cookie-consent choice). These are always on.
  • Functional - remember preferences such as the device size used to render the site.
  • Analytics - if enabled, basic, privacy-friendly usage analytics that help us understand which pages are most useful. No advertising profiles are built.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

3. Managing your choice

When you first visit, our cookie banner asks you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time below.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may stop parts of the site (such as the client portal login) from working.
